Honduran man who is Jewish fled after gang members murdered his father, brothers, and nephews at the order of an antisemitic group.

*Andres – Honduras

Andres* is a man from Honduras. Andres and his family suffered persecution and torture from gang members at the order of an antisemitic group because he and his family are Jewish. The targeted violence resulted in the murders of Andres’ father, brothers, and nephews.

Additionally, when Andres was 13 or 14, members of the same gang sexually abused him. His family relocated five times in attempt to hide from them and the antisemitic group. However, each time, gang members eventually found them and there were more deaths. Andres fled the country after they shot him in his left leg and killed his nephew.

Andres is eligible for fear-based protection from deportation that may include withholding of removal and protection under the Convention Against Torture and needs a pro bono team to represent him in his deportation hearing.
