Michael Lukens
Executive Director
Michael Lukens has been part of the immigrants’ rights and legal access movement for over a decade.
In his role as Executive Director, Michael oversees Amica Center’s legal and operational programs, including advocacy, litigation, and client-facing services, and the volunteer and pro bono programs.
Prior to joining Amica Center, Michael was a senior associate at Paul Hastings’s DC office. He earned a Master’s in Public Management from the University of Maryland with a focus on nonprofit management and a law degree from Hofstra Law School. He serves as a Treasurer on the board of the Washington Council of Lawyers.
