Michael Lukens
Executive Director
Michael is the Executive Director of the Amica Center for Immigrant rights, leading the organization as it fights for its clients, community, and due process.
He has been with Amica Center since 2014. He speaks and writes often on the intersection of access to counsel and immigration rights, immigration reform, and nonprofit management.
Prior to joining Amica Center, Michael worked at Paul Hastings. He has earned a Master’s in Public Management from the University of Maryland with a focus on nonprofit management and a law degree from Hofstra Law School. He serves as a Treasurer on the board of the Washington Council of Lawyers.
