Passionate about immigrant rights?
Our volunteers are vital to our work, sometimes acting as one of the first points of contact between Amica Center and people in detention. Once you sign up, we give you the training and support you need to make a real impact.
Medical-legal collaborative
Have a healthcare background? We have a place for you.
We invite healthcare professionals and medical school students to join our paid program and use their expertise to support legal advocacy for our clients. Here are the latest ways you can show up for people facing detention and deportation.
-
Mental health professionals
We partner with mental health professionals to provide free or low-cost psychological or neuropsychological evaluations to assist with our clients’ legal defense.

Medical school students
We work with medical school students to perform medical record reviews in support of our clients’ cases. Students can participate individually or through their school clinics.
