Featured Speaker

Edafe Okporo

Activist and Author

 

The featured speaker will be author and activist Edafe Okporo. Okporo is the author of “Asylum: A Memoir and Manifesto” and the founder of Refuge America, a nonprofit that supports LGBTQ+ asylum seekers and refugees. Edafe’s personal experiences as a refugee and his unwavering commitment to equality and justice have made him a prominent voice in the fight for a more inclusive and compassionate world.
