Meet Lenny Tejeda, a volunteer translator with Amica Center.

Lenny is currently a private wealth legal assistant at Holland and Knight in Massachusetts. His experience in the legal field, along with his passion for immigrant rights, makes him the perfect fit to translate all types of documents—birth certificates, declarations, letters of support, and news articles—to support a client’s immigration case.

Coming from a family with a variety of immigration statuses, Lenny finds much joy in knowing he can contribute to the success of someone’s immigration case. In fact, he encourages everyone to volunteer with Amica Center, as “there are a variety of ways to contribute and give back to your community—for instance, through translation, interpreting, or the hotline.”
